The first show of the season for me was Catforth where there were 330 blooms on wonderful display. £400 went to cancer research and there was a raffle with sixty prizes. Mr Robinson from Yorkshire got Best in Show with Ombersley. He also won the Championship Class and several other classes and got a Diploma for his Terminator. Bernard Molyneux got a Diploma for his Goldfinger. In addition to the prize money, there were 27 extra prizes awarded. I won the Miniature Championship and got a prize for the most intriguing bloom with Sunny Girlfriend seen below.
Well done to Tom Alty and Andrew Clark for organising such a great show.
